Cook (Pellegrini's Italian Orange)

Location: Orange, Australia. Sector: Hospitality & Catering. Salary: $77,000.00 to $80,000.00 per annum.

As a Cook at Pellegrini’s Italian Orange, you will work alongside our talented chefs to prepare and present high-quality Italian dishes. You will be responsible for maintaining food standards, kitchen hygiene, and contributing to a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Task & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

- Preparing and cooking Italian meals to a high standard.
- Assisting with menu planning and seasonal specials.
- Maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment in line with food safety standards.
- Managing stock rotation and minimising food wastage.
- Working collaboratively with the kitchen and front-of-house teams.

Qualification & Experience

Requirements:

- Relevant qualification in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience working as a Cook or in a similar role within a busy kitchen.
- Strong knowledge of Italian cuisine preferred.
- Ability to work under pressure and in a team environment.
- Commitment to high standards of food preparation and presentation.
