Overview

Reporting into the WIP Shed Supervisor, the Trade Assistant will join our WIP Shed Department on a Full-Time basis at our South Guildford location. This role involves working alongside our CRC teams to manage and deliver work-in-progress materials between the WIP Shed and the Component Rebuild Centre. Attention to detail and the ability to work autonomously are crucial for ensuring smooth and continuous operations.

Responsibilities

- Assist in the movement of materials within the WIP Shed
- Manage inventory and ensure accurate record-keeping
- Operate forklifts, including counterbalance and high reach forklifts
- Support the team in maintaining high standards
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow

Skills & Experience

- Experience with mining, construction or industrial equipment
- Forklift License is essential; Dogging highly desired
- Experience with Caterpillar Dealership and engine overhauls is highly advantageous
- Good attitude with a strong work ethic
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Previous use of safety and risk assessment tools such as Job Safety Analysis and Take 5's
