- MDP2: $106,316 - $172,438 p.a + salary sacrifice benefits

- MDP3: $172,956 - $184,098 p.a + salary sacrifice benefits

- Multiple temporary full time 3 year contracts available

WHAT ARE WE OFFERING?

We are seeking motivated Emergency Residents/Registrars and Senior Registrars to join the Southern Fleurieu Health Service Emergency Department. These are full-time, temporary 3-year contracts, classified as MDP2 or MDP3 depending on your experience and knowledge. You’ll be part of a supportive, multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality, patient-centred emergency care in a rural setting. WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

- Experience in Emergency Medicine with competency in common emergency procedures and paediatric patient management

- Ability to work independently and under pressure while maintaining excellent patient care standards

- Commitment to providing culturally safe care and willingness to undertake further cultural training

HOW WILL YOU CONTRIBUTE?

- Manage patient care in the Emergency Department collaboratively with medical, nursing, and allied health staff

- Provide after‑hours code blue support to the inpatient medical unit

- Participate actively in a 24/7 roster, continuing education, and quality improvement programs

- Foster teamwork across disciplines to ensure optimal clinical outcomes and a positive workplace culture

WHAT ELSE DO YOU NEED TO KNOW?

- Immunisation to current SA Health policy required

- Employment screening and background checks

- Registration with AHPRA as a Medical Practitioner (MBBS or equivalent, registrable with the Medical Board of Australia; fellowship in EM or GP desired)

- Total indicative remuneration package includes award salary, leave loading, professional development and superannuation
