This role offers the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research focused on improving outcomes for individuals with psychosis, particularly those affected by physical health comorbidities such as those associated with schizophrenia. The team is actively engaged in psychiatric epidemiology, randomised controlled trials, observational studies, and evidence synthesis and guideline development, providing a rich, collaborative setting for impactful work.In this role, you’ll apply your expertise in quantitative research methodologies to lead and support high-quality data analysis, contribute to manuscript preparation, and supervise Honour and Higher Degree by Research students, as well as psychiatry registrars undertaking scholarly projects. You’ll be central to research into psychosis, exploring both physical health outcomes and the impact of compulsory community treatment, with the aim of building a nationally recognised research profile in this critical area. You will also contribute to service and engagement activities within the Centre and the broader UQ community.
