Job Description

- Develop and maintain scalable web applications using modern full‑stack technologies.

- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design and implement software solutions.

- Ensure optimal performance, security, and responsiveness of applications.

- Write clean, well‑documented, and reusable code.

- Identify and troubleshoot software defects and issues.

- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.

- Contribute to the development of technical specifications and project documentation.

- Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies to enhance project outcomes.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Full Stack Developer should have:

- Proven experience in full stack development, including both front‑end and back‑end technologies.

- Strong proficiency in React (with Hooks), TypeScript, and modern CSS frameworks such as Tailwind or similar.

- Hands‑on experience with REST and GraphQL APIs, including designing and debugging integrations.

- Cloud platform expertise, particularly with AWS services like Amplify (DataStore, GraphQL, Auth), DynamoDB, Lambda, and S3.

- Solid understanding of database management, schema design, and performance optimisation in NoSQL environments.

- Proficiency in Git and version control workflows, including code reviews and collaborative development.

- Experience with testing frameworks, including unit, integration, and end‑to‑end testing in React/TypeScript.

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, such as Amplify Console or GitHub Actions.

- Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently and within a team.

- Previous experience in the public sector or similar industries (desirable but not essential).
