The technology function provides critical support to all areas of the enterprise, managing systems, security, and data to ensure resilience, compliance, and innovation.

The Role

As Lead, IT, you’ll shape and deliver an integrated technology strategy that ensures the organisation’s systems, infrastructure, and cybersecurity posture support both stability and growth. Reporting to the Director of IT, you’ll oversee a small internal team and trusted service providers to deliver secure, reliable, and efficient IT operations across cloud, enterprise applications, and networks.

You’ll modernise systems and services, strengthen cybersecurity frameworks, and ensure compliance with corporate and international standards. The role combines strategic planning with hands-on leadership, involving collaboration with senior executives, technical partners, and overseas stakeholders. Success means a cohesive IT environment that delivers measurable business value and supports digital evolution.

Please note: This role will be for an initial 12-month fixed term.

You’re a proven IT leader who enjoys balancing long-term strategy with practical delivery. You take ownership, communicate clearly, and build trust across business and technical teams. You bring a blend of technical depth, commercial awareness, and stakeholder engagement skills, with a focus on cybersecurity, systems integration, and service quality.

Skills & Experience

- Tertiary qualifications in IT, Computer Science, or Engineering (Electronics or Computer)
- 5–7 years’ experience in IT management or equivalent
- Strong capability across infrastructure, networks, cloud platforms (Office 365, AWS), SAP, and cybersecurity
- Experience with audit and compliance frameworks such as SOX or J-SOX
- Proven success managing vendors, budgets, and technical teams
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills across all levels of an organisation
