Our client URGENTLY requires a Mainframe Analyst / Programmer for a 12 months + Contract in Darwin.

The Mainframe Analyst / Programmer primary responsibility is to provide Mainframe application support and development for the commercial-of-the-shelf Government Accounting System (GAS) which is underpinned by Infor Masterpiece, Datacom and CICS.

Skills and Experience required includes:

- Knowledge and extensive working experience with COBOL, JCL, SQL, Infor Masterpiece, CICS and Datacom.

- Knowledge and experience with Atlassian JIRA in managing ticket requests, workload and documentation is highly desirable, whilst knowledge of Atlassian Confluence is a bonus.

- Knowledge and informed awareness of banking is highly desirable.

Government and/or banking experience would be highly advantageous.
