This roster is 8:6 and a 12 hour day. Residential Kalgoorlie or FIFO from Perth.

About the role

Reporting to the Underground Mining Superintendent, we are looking to appoint an Underground Senior Supervisor to provide operational leadership at Mungari Operations.

You will work closely with the engineering team planning the integrated operational details to allow you the time to play a key role in the field leading mine development and production.

- Leading, mentoring and supervising underground mining teams, including supervisors, operators and support personnel.
- Oversee production activities to ensure the achievement of daily and weekly production goals.
- Conduct daily toolbox meetings and provide clear direction on shift priorities and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure flexibility and readiness to execute tasks and directives as required by the Superintendent to meet the evolving needs of the operation.
- Be directly responsible for planning the weekly operational plan with the Technical Services team, ensuring it includes the necessary operational details for safe and effective execution.
- Work with engineering and geology teams to ensure optimal ore extraction and grade control.
- Coordinate and monitor the use of equipment and resources to maximise efficiency and minimise downtime.
- Support the Underground Mining Superintendent to ensure performance, behaviour, and development of your teams is in line with Evolution’s values and business objectives.

About you

As the Underground Senior Supervisor you will have extensive experience working in an underground production environment at Supervisor level and will have demonstrated how you have successfully led teams to safely deliver to plan. It is anticipated that you hold a current WA Underground Supervisor’s Certificate and associated competencies under the new legislation. You will also be able to demonstrate the following:

- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in underground mining, with at least two years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of underground mining methods, equipment, and safety regulations.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities.
- Proficient in using mine planning software and be familiar with Short Interval Control processes (highly regarded).
