Mazzei Electric started in Nanaimo, BC in 1994. We started as a small family run company that focused on commercial service contracts. At this time, Mazzei Electric Ltd. is hiring aProject Coordinatorfor a 1 year contract based directly on site inVictoria, BC.This individual will play an integral role in assisting the Project Manager in the planning, coordination, and execution of the project from inception to conclusion.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

· Fully support and promote Mazzei Electric’s core values of Safety, Innovation, Relationships and Trust.

· Coordinate and track schedules, RFI’s, and shop drawings.

· Create financial reports for forecasting and invoicing for Project Manager review.

· Create and compile operation and maintenance manuals.

· Obtain permits and licenses from appropriate authorities.

· Collaborate with prefabrication, design and purchasing departments.

· Other administrative tasks as needed.

· Develop/maintain network of professional relationships within our industry.

· Perform other tasks as required. This position may be based on site.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

· Electrical experience and/or construction experience required.

· Strong administrative and computer skills including the use of MS Office Suite and accounting/ERP software.

· Strong time management skills, specifically the ability to multi-task and prioritize a high work load.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills.

· Strong organizational, problem solving, and customer service skills.
