The role

Join a dynamic Asset Finance team as a Portfolio Finance Manager on a 12-month fixed-term contract, reporting directly to the Divisional Financial Controller. This is a key role where you'll oversee a team of 3 Property Finance Analysts, delivering high-quality financial and management reporting across a diverse and high-value property portfolio.

You'll act as a strategic finance partner, providing critical insights and driving performance by supporting operational stakeholders in achieving their asset-level strategic and operational goals. What you will be doing

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and develop a high-performing team of Property Finance Analysts through coaching, mentoring, and training on financial systems and processes.
- Oversee core financial deliverables, including monthly reporting and variance analysis, annual budgets, reforecasts, and external reporting requirements.
- Deliver key stakeholder reporting, such as owner presentations, valuation data packs, and asset performance analysis.
- Drive continuous improvement, identifying process efficiencies and supporting strategic initiatives, transactions, and due diligence activities.
- Provide insights on financial performance, focusing on expense management, benchmarking, and trend analysis to support strategic decision-making.

What makes you stand out

You are a commercially minded finance professional with a relevant degree (e.g. Bachelor of Commerce or equivalent) and proven experience in property/ real estate is desirable. You bring strong leadership capability, having successfully led high-performing teams. Your excellent communication, analytical thinking, and stakeholder engagement skills enable you to thrive in a high performing environment.

You’re detail-oriented, take initiative, and are confident juggling multiple priorities. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are essential, and CA/CPA qualification is highly desirable.

Experience with financial systems such as SAP, Anaplan, HFM/Oracle, and Tableau will be advantageous.
