For now, we need help during the busy season We're seeking a high-performing team member who excels at sales and customer service, demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and is quick, efficient, and accurate. You are agile and flexible, able to pivot activities as needed to bring the highest value to the organization. You can switch gears and manage multiple clients effectively, offering more individualized service when it's slow and there is more time to interact. You also utilize downtime to keep the store tidy, clean, and replenished.

You have excellent attention to detail, combined with efficiency and effectiveness. You are quick at maintaining displays, merchandising, re-stocking, receiving inventory transfers, and keeping the store tidy and visually appealing. You are a quick learner, responsive to feedback, responsible, and reliable. You can work independently or as part of a team.

Clients love our unique, premium products, available online and shipped across Canada and the U.S., and locally through cafes and restaurants. Our offerings include stress-relief teas, bath salts, aromatherapy products, skincare serums, and moisturizers, among others.

Our shop features a curated selection of high-quality teapots, cups, and accessories, and we enjoy educating clients about the benefits of our products. We prioritize organic ingredients, avoiding synthetic chemicals, artificial flavors, dyes, or hidden additives. Sustainability and eco-friendliness are central to our practices.

Qualifications:

Experience in frontline retail sales with a proven track record of excellence. Preference for candidates with experience selling skincare, bodycare, beauty, aromatherapy, cosmetics, tea, or wellness products. Ability to communicate effectively about brand features and benefits, using brand-specific language and scripts.

Position Requirements:

This role involves constant movement, standing, and use of hands and arms. Tasks include filling tea containers, using a POS system, receiving inventory, and packing orders. Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs, and frequently bend and twist. Ability to go up and down stairs, use a ladder, and handle hot beverages is required. Eco-friendly cleaning products are used in the store.

Hours of Operation:

Open Wednesday through Saturday from 10:30 am to 5:30 pm, and Sundays from 11 am to 5 pm. Please specify your availability in your application.
