We are seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Manager to join our team at Wedded Wonderland, a leading online destination for all things wedding. The ideal candidate will be passionate about weddings, lifestyle, and fashion, and possess a deep understanding of how to engage audiences across various social media platforms. The primary responsibility of this role is to curate, create, and schedule captivating content for Pinterest, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube, ensuring our brand maintains a strong and consistent presence.
Responsibilities:
1. Content Creation and Curation:
1. Develop and execute a comprehensive social media content calendar aligned with our brand's voice and objectives.
2. Brief in and create visually appealing and engaging content, including photos, videos, graphics, and written posts, tailored to each platform.
3. Source and curate relevant content from other sources to share with our audience.
4. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop campaigns and promotions.
2. Scheduling and Publishing:
1. Utilize social media management tools to schedule posts for optimal engagement across different time zones and demographics.
2. Ensure timely publishing of content according to the calendar.
3. Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner.
3. Community Management:
1. Actively engage with our audience by responding to comments, participating in conversations, and fostering a sense of community.
2. Identify and collaborate with influencers and brand ambassadors to expand our reach.
4. Analytics and Reporting:
1. Track and analyze key social media metrics to measure performance and identify areas for improvement.
2. Generate regular reports on social media activity, engagement, and ROI.
3. Stay informed about emerging social media trends and best practices.
5. Platform Management:
1. Maintain an in-depth knowledge of each platform's features, algorithms, and advertising options.
2. Optimize content for maximum visibility and engagement on each platform.
3. Ensure all social media profiles are up-to-date and accurately represent our brand.
Qualifications:
1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
2. Experience: 2+ years of experience in social media management, preferably in the wedding or lifestyle industry.
3. Skills:
1. Strong understanding of social media platforms (Pinterest, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube).
2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
3. Proficiency in graphic design and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro).
4. Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Zoho Social, Publer).
5. Strong analytical and reporting skills.
6. Creative and innovative mindset.
7. Passion for weddings and lifestyle.
