Salary: $120,000 – $145,000 + Superannuation (negotiable based on experience)

What You’ll Be Doing

- Leading pre- and post-contract cost management services across a portfolio of projects.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships, offering strategic commercial advice.
- Overseeing cost plans, estimates, tender reviews, and value engineering exercises.
- Managing and mentoring quantity surveyors and cadets to ensure high-quality delivery.
- Providing commercial oversight, reporting, and financial control throughout the project lifecycle.
- Supporting business development initiatives and contributing to fee proposals.
- Representing the firm in client, consultant, and contractor meetings.
- Ensuring compliance with internal QA systems and industry standards.

What You’ll Need

- Tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in a consultancy environment delivering cost management services.
- Professional membership with AIQS, RICS, or working toward chartership.
- Proven leadership and client-facing experience with strong commercial acumen.
- Background in mid- to large-scale building or infrastructure projects in Australia.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
