About the Role

We are currently looking for experienced and non-experiencedMeat Workers / Labourer’s or people looking to start a career in the meat industryto be based at our Brooklyn Plant located 15 minutes west of the Melbourne CBD.

As a General Labourer, you will have experience or be eager to train and work in various areas of our meat processing;

- Be comfortable working in production environment, boning room or Harvest floor
- Handling raw meat and animal bi products
- Adaptable to a fast-pacedphysical role
- Focus on safety and quality
- Willingness to learn and perform labouring duties such as trimming, packing, weighing, labelling, machine operating, manual handling and cleaning

Responsibilities

- The ideal candidate for this role is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses:

Qualifications

- A strong drive for operational excellence
- Ability to work in a labour intensive and/or manual handling role
- Capable of repetitive heavy lifting
- Punctual and reliable
- Reliable transport (public transport is not available)
- Ability to work in hot or cold environments
- Ability to work as part of the team and individually
- Available for a permanent Full-time role
- Available to work in the PM shift
