What you’ll do?
The Senior Network Engineer is responsible for being the point of the escalation for tickets, guiding and upskilling other engineers and taking proactive measures to provide solutions for high value managed service and prepaid support customers. The role will require a heavy focus on Network and Infrastructure maintenance and support, alongside general systems engineering duties and sits within our Service Desk team.
- Provide services across multiple vendors and vertical technologies delivering excellence in Windows and/or Apple focused technology services.
- Handle escalations from Service Desk Technicians & Engineers, whilst providing mentorship and support throughout the process.
- Advanced troubleshooting of network connectivity and general systems engineering issues.
- Follow documented workflows and processes for clients, responding to customers directly and take ownership of their tickets.
- Documenting time and technical information into our ticketing systems, as well as our client's information tools.
What you’ll bring?
- Previous experience in a Senior Network Engineer role or similar position - must have exposure to a role in an MSP environment.
- Proven track record of working with networking and security technologies such as Aruba, Juniper, CISCO and Fortinet.
- Previous experience implementing and troubleshooting network and infrastructure related hardware.
- Experience mentoring and providing support to junior technicians and engineers.
- Excellent technical and non-technical communication skills with key stakeholders
What else do you need to apply?
- Travel on-site to our office in Notting Hill and work in a hybrid capacity.
- Must be an Australian resident available to work full time without restrictions.
Compnow will provide and require all successful applicants to complete a current National Police Check as well as a new or updated state-based Working With Children Check.
