Melbourne, Australia DuluxGroup Ltd. Full time

Overview

You might not have heard of us, but we're sure you know the high-quality brands and products we’ve been distributing to the building industry for almost 40 years.

With 25 locations across Australia, Lincoln Sentry is a proud part of the DuluxGroup family so we can support you as you grow with us. And while work is important, our top priority is to ensure you stay safe on the job, and get home to the people who matter most.

We’re really proud of all we’ve achieved over the years. But we’ve really only scratched the surface. Join us as a Senior Supply Chain Planner and help us as we take something great and make it better.

Your Opportunity

Are you ready to take the lead in shaping a smarter, more agile supply chain? Lincoln Sentry is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Planner to drive strategic planning, optimize inventory flow, and mentor a high-performing team. This is a pivotal role for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys working cross-functionally to deliver results.

As a Senior Supply Chain Planner, you’ll be at the heart of our supply network strategy—making decisions that directly impact product availability, supplier performance, and operational efficiency. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure our supply chain runs smoothly, cost-effectively, and in alignment with business goals.

Responsibilities

- Strategically manage stock placement across distribution centers and branches, ensuring efficient movement and replenishment across the network

- Collaborate with sales, category, and marketing teams to align inventory levels with demand forecasts and business targets

- Maintain strong supplier partnerships by providing accurate forecasts and ensuring timely, complete deliveries

- Partner with procurement and purchasing teams to optimize MRP processes and GS1 data setup, including rounding quantities, lot sizing, and transfer quantities

- Lead initiatives in freight, transfers, and slow-moving stock management using analytics to drive smarter decisions

- Provide strategic oversight of master data setup to minimize manual intervention and improve system efficiency

- Act as a mentor to supply planners and master data administrators, offering guidance and potentially overseeing dotted-line reports

What you’ll bring

- Proven experience with SAP or ERP systems

- Expertise in managing high-volume SKU environments (16,000+ SKUs)

- Advanced Excel and data analysis skills

- A proactive, analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities

- Experience in trade retail, manufacturing, or distribution environments preferred

But what’s most important is that you’re committed to doing good work, well. You’ll work shoulder-to-shoulder with trustworthy people, so it’s important that you’re willing to work in a team environment. We’re also on a constant journey of growth, so you’ll need to have an open mind and be flexible to change.

Why choose us?

You know when you get to do good, quality work with people you actually like? It feels good, eh? At Lincoln Sentry, you’ll find no-nonsense people who get in and get it done. We roll up our sleeves, share the load, then head home, safe and sound.

Tegan loves working for Lincoln Sentry because it means she can achieve a healthy work-life balance as she raises her young family.

“I’ve learned how to step back more here. I think it’s important to have a good work-life balance, and Lincoln Sentry is very supportive of that. You shouldn’t have to pull astronomical hours to get your job done. Here, you get all the tools and resources you need to find the balance that’s right for you.”

We know you give a lot. So here’s some of what you’ll get in return:

- Stay active anytime, anywhere through our partnership with Fitness Passport and get unlimited, discounted access for you and your family to a wide of gyms and pools across Australia

- Industry-leading professional development programs

- 20 weeks paid parental leave for primary carers

- Total wellbeing support through our wellbeing app and our LifeWorks Employee Assistance Program

- Monthly Employee Celebration Program and Quarterly XCEED Program to recognise and reward your hard work

- Up to $1000 a year back on out-of-pocket medical expenses, through our ‘Gap Plan’

- ‘Supporting our Communities’ employee action day

Looking for more? If you want to step up, there’s space for you to learn and progress - at Lincoln Sentry, DuluxGroup and beyond. Realising your full potential starts here.

Help us take something great and make it better

There’s so much potential here for the taking.
