You may know Bupa for our health insurance, dental and optical clinics, and aged care services, but did you know we also deliver visa medical assessments across Australia on behalf of the Australian Government for people who are applying for visas to live, work or study in Australia. Key details: Reporting to and supported by the Senior Health Assessor, Pathology Collectors/Health Assessors will be responsible for providing quality health assessments to customers undertaking a medical assessment as part of their visa application process.
- Full-time fixed term contract positions ending December 2026
- Must have availability to work 5 days per week (38 hours per week)
- Must have availability on weekends, either Saturday/Sunday or both on a rotational roster.
- Centre hours can be from 7am-6pm Monday to Friday, and Weekends 8am-4pm
- Availability to work on a rotational roster between opening hours
What you’ll do:
- Identity checks, blood pressure, height, weight, body mass index, vision testing, urinalysis, and venepuncture
- Facilitate smooth delivery of the applicants through the medical assessment to ensure a timely and accurate service
- Adhere to clinical governance and associated policies and procedures
- Accurate documentation of results in eHealth record
Your background:
- Certificate III or IV in Pathology (mandatory)
- 2 years phlebotomy experience (essential)
- Experience working with people of multi-cultural background
- Excellent customer service skills
