The Role
As the Manager Corporate Services, you will work closely with the Principal to manage the strategic and day-to-day financial, physical and human resource aspects of the school’s business operations. You will ensure effective financial administration of the school’s operations, including financial planning, budgeting, monitoring and reporting to achieve the school’s strategic and corporate financial objectives.
We are seeking an applicant with well-established financial management capabilities and strong leadership and interpersonal skills. You should be flexible, reliable and able to work independently, with strong leadership and people-management abilities. The Manager Corporate Services oversees a diverse team including cleaners and Education Assistants and should demonstrate confidence, empathy and resilience in managing staff with varying needs and expectations. The successful applicant will foster a positive and respectful workplace culture, navigate interpersonal dynamics, and support staff wellbeing while maintaining high standards of professionalism and accountability.

Eligibility
- Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.
- Obtain a valid Working With Children Check before you start.
- Consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education’s Screening Unit before you start.

Qualifications and Selection Criteria

- Demonstrated high-level human resource management skills, including the ability to develop and/or apply human resource management practices and processes.
- Demonstrated high-level financial management skills, including budget preparation and the ability to understand and apply financial and accounting practices and procedures.
- Demonstrated high-level written communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated experience in the application of high-level customer service principles and practices.
- Demonstrated experience in effective leadership of a team.
- Demonstrated ability to provide high-level human resource consultancy and financial advice in the development, implementation and management of business and marketing plans.
- Demonstrated well-developed problem solving and risk management skills, including the ability to provide innovative solutions to strategic and complex problems and issues.
