About the Role
As Maintenance and Property Team Leader, you’ll play a vital part in maintaining the high standards that make BaptistCare communities exceptional. From buildings and gardens to equipment and safety compliance, you’ll ensure everything works seamlessly so our residents can focus on living their best lives.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and perform maintenance activities—reactive and preventative—to meet compliance and quality standards. (This is a hands on role ).
- Lead, train, and support a small team of maintenance professionals.
- Work closely with Site Managers and the Area Manager to minimize disruptions.
- Manage assets, vehicles, and equipment with care and efficiency.
- Champion sustainability initiatives and ensure contractor compliance.
- Uphold safety and audit standards, including WHS

About you
- Trade Certificate in a relevant field and trade experience preferred.
- Hands‑on maintenance skills.
- Skilled in managing maintenance systems, budgets, and teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 and operational processes.
- Knowledge of statutory regulations and compliance requirements
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to complete Fire Safety Officer training.
- Experience in aged care, retirement living, or healthcare environments is highly regarded.
