You will... - Build your capability across many areas of OT, including assistive tech, home mods, paediatrics, SIL/SDA/ILO and mental health. - Assess participants emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental and physical level of function and capacity - Provide support and advice on adaptations to the environment including home, school, work and residential facilities From a paediatric play-based session to help a child develop motor skills, to assessing & making recommendations on potential modifications to the environment through assistive tech or home mods to improve accessibility; the work of an OT is varied. You will… - Assess participants' emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental and physical level of function and capacity to perform ADL’s and IADL’s - Interpret findings to formulate treatment goals. - Participate in professional development and receive formal 1:1 supervision - Engage in group supervision & disability specific workshops - Collaborate with our wider multidisciplinary team of Speechies, Physio's, EP's, Psychologists and BSP's.
