We are seeking a Specialist Consultant Psychiatrist - C/A for a Central North QLD hospital. This is a permanent full‑time role providing clinical expertise in the assessment, diagnosis, investigation and management of patients over the age of 18 with complex mental health problems. This is a great QLD location and a popular tourist destination. This hospital has 305 beds and is the main referral hospital in Central Queensland, serving a population of over 250,000. The region's climate supports an outdoor lifestyle with an average of over 300 days of sunshine each year. You'll always find people dining alfresco, hiking and just enjoying the great outdoors. Child‑care centres here are in abundance and are dedicated to the safety and stimulation of children. Schools in the area are all well‑equipped and provide the highest level of education, with an excellent reputation for achieving outstanding academic results. The area is expanding, with many people taking advantage of an abundance of affordable real‑estate and a superb, relaxed lifestyle. There is the choice between housing in the town, small acreage rural land or large properties for farming and grazing.

Total package value up to $446,028 p.a., comprising salary between $214,897 – $227,843 p.a. (L25 – L27); or remuneration value up to $408,051 p.a., comprising salary between $179,703 – $208,735 p.a. (L18 – L24).
