What you'll do:

As a Senior Fund Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the high standards of service delivery that our client is known for. You will be responsible for oversight of the Unit Pricing and Unit Registry function for all clients. Your role will involve close collaboration with teams across multiple locations and direct interaction with external clients. In addition to this, you will have responsibility over the Hard Close / month end process. Your ability to communicate effectively, identify and implement new procedures and controls, and carry out complex activities will be key to your success in this role.

Ensure timely and accurate reports to clients
Provide input to process changes resulting in greater operational efficiency
Direct liaison with clients whilst supporting the team manager in ensuring operational efficiency
Complete Hard Close / month end process while working on streamlining the process
Liaise professionally with Internal Departments, Unit Pricing teams, Unit Registry teams, Auditors, and other internal teams
Communicate effectively both orally & in written form with internal departments and external bodies
Identify, document and disseminate new procedures and controls
Carry out complex activities with significant financial, client and/or internal business impact

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Senior Fund Accountant position brings a wealth of experience in fund accounting and unit pricing. You are able to work under pressure to meet multiple daily deadlines for client deliverables. Your excellent communication skills enable you to liaise professionally with various internal departments as well as external bodies. Your numerical literacy and proficiency in computer applications such as Excel and Word support your analytical approach to problem-solving. Your innovative mindset will be a valuable asset in identifying and implementing new procedures and controls.

Previous experience in a similar role with unit pricing experience; technical soundness in this area of expertise is required
Ability to work under pressure to achieve multiple daily deadlines for client deliverables
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Numerical and computer literacy (including spreadsheet skills) – (e.g. Excel, Word)
Analytical and problem-solving skills are required; demonstrate innovation
