With roots in Deliverology® and over a decade of experience, we support leaders from strategy to execution. Our remote team works worldwide with governments and philanthropies to scale results.
We’re committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion—believing empowered, diverse teams drive stronger partnerships and more equitable outcomes.
Description
Delivery Associates (DA) is a social impact consulting firm committed to turning ambitious goals into tangible results. Our innovative approach helps governments and organizations worldwide deliver real outcomes for the people they serve.
We are currently seeking a Manager, Social Impact Consulting based in Australia (ideally Sydney or Melbourne) to join our growing consulting team in Australia, South‑East Asia and the Pacific. This role focuses on policy and program implementation with government and social‑impact partners, not IT or Agile delivery.
Job Description
DA Managers are senior consulting managers, simultaneously leading multiple projects or major workstreams with end‑to‑end oversight. You’ll shape the work we do in the region, manage high‑stakes partnerships, and help grow DA’s presence in new and existing markets. You’ll also play a role in identifying and securing new opportunities.
You’ll have the opportunity to work across a range of contexts – partnering with local governments, philanthropies, and nonprofits to design and implement impactful initiatives that ultimately drive resident impact. You’ll also help shape and grow our footprint in the region by forging and nurturing strategic relationships and contributing to the development of new client partnerships and service offerings.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage project teams: Manage and develop DA consulting teams providing coaching, direction and support to ensure high‑quality implementation in government and social‑impact settings.
- Lead problem solving sessions: Lead structured problem‑solving and strategy sessions, coaching DA colleagues and partners to diagnose issues, prioritise actions, and shape practical implementation pathways.
- Design stakeholder reporting: Develop clear, concise implementation insights, progress updates and decision‑support materials tailored for senior government and philanthropic leaders.
- Facilitate collaboratives: Lead effective meetings and workshops that drive forward problem solving and consensus.
- Build key relationships: Build trusted relationships with senior government and philanthropic leaders, enabling alignment, momentum and sustained collaboration across multi‑stakeholder environments.
- Navigate complex engagements: Lead multi‑stakeholder engagements in complex environments with curiosity, empathy, and the ability to influence partner teams for collective progress.
- Lead business development efforts: Identify and scope new work with current and potential partners. Lead on the development of high‑quality proposals, thought leadership and the positioning of our services in the region including defining new offers or service models that meet evolving partner needs.
- Support practice and regional growth: Play a leadership role in growing DA’s presence and reputation across the Asia‑Pacific region. Support internal initiatives that contribute to our development as a firm.
Core Competencies
We work well with people who demonstrate the following competencies:
- Stakeholder management: ability to develop and sustain senior relationships end to end.
- Strategic communication: ability to engage diverse audiences across cultures, develop high‑quality materials, tailor messages effectively and communicate clearly.
- Team leadership: efficient collaboration, delegation and coaching, while fostering an inclusive teaming environment.
- Problem solving: robust and holistic solution development approach, adapting for risks and opportunities with adaptability to ambiguity.
- Results orientation: a proactive and accountable approach, with a strong focus on outcomes.
- Business development: demonstrated interest in or experience with identifying, securing and shaping new work and relationships.
- Practice Building: commitment to growing DA’s capabilities, culture and impact in the region.

- Professional experience: A minimum of 8 years of relevant and full‑time work experience in consulting, other professional services, or as a senior manager in government and public sector delivery.
