Within the Psychological Division you will be exposed to the key learning objectives of psychological practice, board approved supervision, professional development and understanding the assessment tasks which will prepare you for the National Psychology Exam. Including weekly and monthly team meetings targeted at developing your exposure to different psychometrics assessments and interventions. In your new role you will manage a portfolio of clients with a psychological injury, creating and monitoring rehabilitation plans which aim to gradually return your clients back to work. You will develop the skills needed to conduct motivational interviews with clients as well as influencing stakeholders to achieve the best possible outcomes for your clients. Looking after a client portfolio, your day will include: - Completing initial psychological assessments which will provide a comprehensive look into an injured workers biopsychosocial barrier’s - Providing a tailored intervention approach to recovery and developing appropriate return to work plans - Conducting vocational assessments, rehabilitation and vocational counselling and motivational interviewing techniques - Providing support through recommendations for community assistance or additional support through the insurer - Working within a multi-disciplinary team to provide complex stakeholder management to support the recovery of an injured worker - Document case notes as part of reporting and compliance requirements, applying your clinical judgement to support and guide your clients to a safe return to work goal About You - Registration with AHPRA as a Provisional Psychologist or Psychologist ORAssociate or Full membership with ASORC as a Rehabilitation Counsellor - Car and valid Driver’s license - Police check or willingness to obtain a police check prior to commencement - Ability to build strong stakeholder relationships - Ability to work in autonomously and as part of a team Pinnacle Rehab is an equal opportunity employer who encourages applications from suitably qualified candidates from all cultures, ages, religions and genders.
