About the Role

We have a permanent vacancy for an experienced Fitter to join our team at Ipswich depot.

You will be working with our Heritage Rollingstock, including railmotors, wooden coaches, and steam locomotives, based out of our Ipswich Workshops.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with fabricators or engineers on rollingstock modifications to ensure compliance with QR and industry standards
  • Investigate and repair broken or fault components of rollingstock
About You
  • Fitter Trade Certificate required
  • Previous experience in maintenance and/or rollingstock maintenance industry beneficial
Working Hours

Our standard working hours are 9 day fortnight (76 hours) with an RDO every second Monday, operating from 0700 – 1600.
