Grow yourself personally and professionally with a company that’s growing with you, by global expansion and product offering.As Operational Tax Manager at CMC Markets, you'll own the operational tax function across Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, and the United States ensuring compliance, driving efficiency, and advising on strategic improvements that directly impact the business.You'll be the go-to expert who helps the business navigate complex multi-jurisdictional tax requirements whilst optimising systems and processes. You'll work on meaningful projects that span new product launches, market entries, and system enhancements. Our culture club provides opportunities for everyone whether you’re into fitness, pizza making classes, socialising or bringing out your competitive side in trivia or lawn bowls**What you’ll be working on*** Maintaining expert knowledge of operational tax requirements across AU, NZ, SG, and US markets, staying ahead of regulatory changes and implementing them smoothly.* Managing day-to-day operational tax functions including dividend withholding. configurations, customer onboarding processes, and system setups for direct and omnibus accounts.* Delivering critical tax reporting including USQI 1042-S and 1099 forms, CRS, US FATCA and CARF, AU Annual Investment Income Reports, and NZ RWT and NRWT.* Advising on operating model improvements that reduce compliance risk and prepare the business for upcoming regulatory changes.* Working with project teams to embed operational tax requirements into new products, system changes, and market entries.* Building and maintaining clear process documentation that keeps teams informed and audit-ready.* Providing regular updates to management on operational tax matters, risks, and opportunities.You’ll bring at least 5 years of experience in operational taxes or a related regulatory environment within an international financial institution. You’ll have strong communication and stakeholder management skills, confident in presenting to a range of audiences, and a proven ability to manage projects and deliver change.You must hold full working rights in Australia to be eligible for this role.**The things we live by**CMC Markets is powered by our people.
