Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust
Multi Skilled Trainer
The closing date is 27 October 2025
Interested in supporting staff with developing practical hands‑on skills that they require to be safe and effective in their roles? We are pleased to offer this opportunity to join our Mandatory and Essential Skills Training team.
While we are looking for someone with some experience of teaching or training, this role does not necessarily require a background in education, as you will be working with an established team. It would suit someone with a flexible and naturally curious approach who is looking for a training and development role that directly supports delivery of healthcare services.
A good candidate demonstrates the ability to engage, support, motivate and lead others to deliver high quality care. An excellent candidate demonstrates professionalism, an innovative attitude to workplace challenges, and a commitment to empowering others.
Not sure if this is the right next step for you? Please contact us to discuss before submitting your application.
Main duties of the job
- Support the planning and preparation of staff training programmes regarding statutory and mandatory training.
- Deliver high‑quality training across core subjects, including Moving and Handling, Resuscitation, and Prevention and Management of Violence and Aggression.
- Ensure that the Trust meets governmental and legislative standards in relation to mandatory training.

- Be present and visible to support the Trust’s staff development.

Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust is a health and social care organisation dedicated to providing high‑quality care with compassion to improve the health and wellbeing of the people we care for, and to empowering them to lead a fulfilling life.
Our clinical teams deliver many NHS services, not only via inpatient and primary care settings, but also within the community. These services include children’s, adult and older people’s mental health, forensic and specialist mental health, learning disabilities, primary care and liaison psychiatry, substance misuse, social care, research and development.
We recruit high‑calibre candidates who share our vision and values. As an equal opportunities employer, we encourage applications from all sectors of the community, particularly from under‑represented groups including people with long‑term conditions and members of our ethnic minority and LGBTQ+ communities.
Please be advised we reserve the right to close adverts earlier than the closing date should we receive sufficient applications.
Regrettably, we cannot offer sponsorship for all our job roles. If you apply for a role that we cannot offer sponsorship for, your application form will be rejected from the process.
