About the role

Our client is seeking a Vendor Analyst to support their delivery partners. Reporting to the Vendor Assurance Manager, this role involves collaborating on a large portfolio with an experienced, small-knit immediate team. The position focuses on contract administration, RFQ management, vendor liaison, administrative support, invoicing and transaction processing, document management and purchase order reconciliation.

Key Skills & Experience

- Demonstrated experience in contract administration, invoicing and payments reconciliation, and vendor financial and purchase order management.

- Exemplary attention to detail with process governance, including management of approvals, documentation and records.

- Well-developed stakeholder engagement skills and a proactive approach.

- Strong time management skills with agility in adapting to shifting priorities.

- Highly developed written, verbal and presentation skills with a consultative and collaborative communication style.

- Digitally fluent, with proficiency in the M365 suite. Key systems include Oracle Peoplesoft Finance, Kofax, ServiceNow and Content Manager.

- Understanding of Commercial Management, Quality Assurance, Vendor Management, IT contracting models and their implications on financial management, vendor management, contracts and program management.

- Support the Senior Vendor Analysts and Vendor Assurance Manager in the management of new and existing IT vendor agreements.

Key Qualifications

- Completion of a degree in law, business, computer science or management without subsequent work experience; or

- An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.

- Industry certification in contract and/or vendor management (desirable).

Desirable Skills, Experience or Qualifications

- Previous Higher Education experience.

- Understanding of standard procurement procedures and tender approaches.
