At UnitingSA, we’re looking for a skilled administrator totake on the crucial role of Scheduling Officer. Inthis fast-paced position, you’ll coordinate the rosters ofour community-based support workers, ensuring clients receive thecare they need, when they need it, and with minimal disruption.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives on solving problems,managing competing priorities, and building meaningfulrelationships. Your attention to detail and calm approach will helpus deliver high-quality, person-centred aged care that meets bothclient needs and workforce capacity.

Your Role in Action:

Here’s what a typical week in the role might looklike:

- Responding to scheduling requests and managing rosterchanges for support workers.
- Matching client preferences and staff availability withaccuracy and efficiency.
- Maintaining up-to-date information in electronic rosteringand client management systems.
- Monitoring support worker hours in line with industrialobligations and processing fortnightly timesheets.
- Liaising with staff, clients, and families to resolvescheduling issues quickly and professionally.
- Supporting your manager and team with administrative tasksas needed.

What You’ll Bring:

- Experience in a fast-paced rostering or administrationenvironment, with great attention to detail.
- Confidence using electronic rostering systems, MicrosoftOffice, and client databases.
- Strong time management, organisational and communicationskills.
- A Certificate II/IV in Business Administration orequivalent experience (desirable).
