Expressions of Interest - Hydrogeologists - National

We are continuously open to career conversations with hydrogeologists across the country. In late 2024 IGS joined forces with Water Technology, adding one of Australia’s leading groundwater consultancies to our expertise. We are now growing this team across Australia, with established offices in Adelaide, Darwin and Perth, while building new teams in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne. We are actively seeking expressions of interest from hydrogeologists at all levels across Australia, regardless of location, and offering challenging field, analytical and modelling projects in the mining, agriculture, water supply, renewable energy and environmental sectors.

Who are we looking for?

- A keen interest in developing new skills, or finding new ways to apply existing skills to offer robust and defensible science to industry, government and NGO clients.
- Experience in hydrochemistry, groundwater impact assessment, or numerical modelling with uncertainty (all levels).
- Initiative, ambition and an ability to work as part of a team.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to develop, plan, cost and implement projects.
- Experience in preparing proposals.
- Client engagement and relationship management skills.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and project management skills.
- Experience coordinating and completing technical investigations, including field and office-based assessments.
- Experience as an independent expert peer reviewer for government agencies.
