Job Overview:
The Electrical Engineer role involves identifying and managing risks associated with equipment on site, including updating drawings, identifying critical spares, and improving maintenance programs. Responsibilities include providing electrical and mechanical expertise to the maintenance department, writing and following risk assessments, and ensuring safe and accurate completion of tasks.
- Identifying and managing risks associated with equipment on site
- Providing electrical and mechanical expertise to the maintenance department
- Writing and following risk assessments and ensuring safe and accurate completion of tasks
- Working on three-phase systems with voltages up to 440V and completing tasks on motors, gearboxes, valves, and other equipment
- Using mobile devices to accurately project and complete tasks from the CAFM maintenance system
- Liaising with onsite site services to manage building services-related issues
- Performing ad hoc duties as needed
Requirements:
- An effective communicator, with proven experience in a client-facing role
- Strong, proven experience as a practising electrical engineer
- Electrical engineering accreditations to a minimum of City & Guilds 2365 Level 3 in Electrical Installations
