About the Company
Rivergum, a prominent and well-respected building company with a team of over 100 professionals, is marking their 30th year of success. With a move to their new Bowden head office planned for 2025, they are looking for a dedicated and experienced Executive Assistant to support their Director and Chair of the board and contribute to the next stage of their growth.
About the Role
Key Responsibilities
1. Oversee day-to-day management of the MD's diary and inbox, ensuring an efficient and well-organised workflow.
2. Provide supportive assistance to the Chair of the Board to help with their day-to-day task management.
3. Handle correspondence and communications, responding appropriately on behalf of the MD.
4. Oversee the handling of printed documents, ensuring the MD has the necessary materials for all meetings.
5. Assist with board papers preparation and attend meetings to take minutes, ensuring all actions are recorded and followed up on.
6. Arrange travel bookings and itineraries for the MD and other key stakeholders as needed.
7. Ensure the MD is prepared for the day by assisting with all aspects of their schedule and priorities.
8. Actively contribute to the executive team, offering insights and suggestions on important business matters.
9. Help the MD with both business and personal financial management, including organising budgets, invoices, and monitoring ongoing financial activities.

About You
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive professional who excels in providing top-tier executive or senior administrative support. The ideal candidate will possess:
1. Extensive experience supporting executives or senior leaders in an administrative capacity.
2. Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with impeccable attention to detail.
3. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and confidence in engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
4. Advanced user of Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint and Excel.
5. Has a proactive approach suitable to a fast-paced setting.
6. Trusted to manage confidential information responsibly.
7. Industry experience in construction, property, or similar fields (highly regarded).
