About the role

As the Motor Mechanic, you will report to the Branch Manager and will be responsible forproviding customers with an exceptional level of service through maintenance/repair of a range of diesel and petrol powered equipment to exacting standards.

This role requires you to:

- Service, repair and maintain vehicles and equipment to high safety and performance standards
- Diagnose and fix mechanical and electrical faults
- Perform scheduled maintenance and on-site repairs as needed
- Ensure all work meets Kennards’ “Ready for Hire” standards
- Report hazards and follow all safety procedures
- Work collaboratively with the team and uphold company values
- A salary package range of $70,000 to $80,000. We also pay weekend allowances and overtime in line with our Enterprise Agreement.

About you

- Trade qualified as a motor mechanic
- At least 3 years’ experience in the field
- A proven ability to be adaptable to changing priorities and work conditions including the ability to both work as part of a team and to work autonomously to complete tasks within required timeframes
- Time management skills including the ability to plan ahead and reschedule in accordance with changes in priorities
- A driver’s License
