Job Title: Band 7 Specialist Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist

Join us for an adventurous opportunity as a Band 7 Specialist Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist in Mitcham, London, where you’ll work full-time in an ongoing position specialising in paediatrics and dysphagia. With a pay rate of £31 hourly, you’ll provide a highly specialist service to children with complex communication needs and eating and drinking difficulties, aged 0-19 years.

What you will do:
- Actively participate as a key member of the clinical team, providing a comprehensive specialist service to children.
- Take charge of your caseload, assessing, treating, and documenting patient progress autonomously in line with professional standards.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with referring services, enhancing understanding of the role of speech and language therapy.
- Supervise junior staff and students, providing guidance and support for their professional development.
- Deliver treatment in a variety of community settings, including clinics, schools, nurseries, and homes.
- Engage in continuous professional development and contribute to audits and research to elevate service quality.
- Participate in the Single Assessment Process, coordinating with agencies to share essential information in compliance with Trust Guidelines.
To thrive in this role, you must be HCPC registered, showcasing your skills and commitment to professional excellence.
