Your role and responsibilities

We're looking for a seasoned SAP Basis Senior Consultant to lead our high-performance team and drive strategic SAP technology initiatives. This role demands a deep understanding of SAP architecture, extensive hands-on experience, and a proven track record of executing complex SAP projects.

1. Strategic Consultancy: Guide clients in their SAP strategy, providing expert advice on system architecture, security, and performance optimization.

2. Complex System Architecture Design: Design and architect complex SAP systems, considering future growth and technological advancements.

3. Project Leadership: Lead large-scale SAP Basis projects from conception through to delivery, managing cross-functional teams and third-party vendors.

4. Technical Innovation and Thought Leadership: Stay updated with the latest trends and innovations in SAP technology. Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the SAP Basis environment.

5. Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with SAP implementations, upgrades, and migrations.

6. Vendor and Partner Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with SAP technology vendors and partners to ensure optimal use of resources and cutting-edge solutions.

7. Mentorship and Talent Development: Mentor junior consultants, share knowledge, and contribute to their professional development.

8. Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, understanding their business needs and translating them into SAP technology solutions.

9. Quality Assurance: Ensure the delivery of high-quality SAP solutions by implementing robust quality assurance processes and standards.

Required education

Bachelor's Degree

Required technical and professional expertise

Applicants must at a minimum have baseline clearance, and can achieve NV1 clearance, and are required to work from the office 5 days per week.

1. Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. A minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience can also be considered in lieu of a degree.

2. Extensive experience as an SAP Basis Consultant, with a strong focus on SAP ECC, SAP HANA, and/or SAP S/4HANA.

3. In-depth understanding of SAP Basis administration, including system monitoring, performance tuning, security management, and backup/recovery procedures.

4. Deep knowledge of SAP NetWeaver, SAP Solution Manager, and other related technologies.

5. Proven expertise in SAP HANA Administration and Database Management Systems.

6. Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to think tactically and strategically.

7. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients, stakeholders, and team members at all levels.

8. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines under pressure.

9. Proven track record of leading and delivering complex SAP projects, achieving client satisfaction, and driving business value.

10. Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
