Penetration Testing Manager

As our Penetration Testing Manager, you’ll play a critical role in safeguarding ING’s digital ecosystem. This is your opportunity to lead a team of ethical hackers and security specialists, drive cutting‑edge penetration testing initiatives, and make a real impact by identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities across networks, applications, cloud platforms, and emerging technologies.

What you’ll do…

- Manage and co‑ordinate end‑to‑end penetration testing engagements, including scoping, execution, reporting, and remediation support.

- Develop and maintain testing methodologies aligned with industry standards (e.g., OWASP, MITRE ATT&CK, NIST).

- Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritise testing efforts based on risk and business impact.

- Mentor and grow a team of penetration testers, fostering technical excellence and continuous learning.

- Ensure timely and actionable reporting of findings, including executive summaries and technical deep dives.

- Drive automation and tooling improvements to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.

- Stay current with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and offensive security techniques.

What we’re looking for…

- Deep knowledge of offensive security principles, techniques, and methodologies.

- At least 5+ years of experience in offensive security, including team leadership and hands‑on penetration testing expertise.

- Strong project management skills with a proven ability to manage delivery timelines, resources, and stakeholder expectations.

- Background in consulting or client‑facing roles; experience in managed services environments is highly regarded.

- Familiarity with regulated industries is desirable.

- Relevant certifications such as OSCP or CREST are highly valued.
