Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Consultants
Our client, a leading global consultancy, is seeking Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Consultants to join a major telecommunications transformation program in Sydney. You’ll work within a high-performing team of 20 consultants and client stakeholders to deliver strategic process improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
We are seeking four consultants in total –
- 1 Lead Black Belt Consultant to drive and oversee the delivery of complex initiatives
- 3 Project-Level Black Belts to execute improvement projects and deliver measurable results
What You’ll Do
- Lead or contribute to cross-functional Lean Six Sigma projects focused on driving efficiency, quality, and performance.
- Apply advanced Lean Six Sigma methodologies (DMAIC, value stream mapping, root cause analysis) to identify and eliminate process waste.
- Deliver measurable business outcomes in collaboration with client stakeholders.
- Utilize data-driven insights to improve operational and customer performance.
- Coach and mentor Green Belts and project teams, fostering a continuous improvement culture.
- Support change management efforts to embed sustainable process improvements.
Who We’re Looking For
We’re open to strong Black Belt professionals from one of the following telecommunications domains:
Option 1 – Network Operations:
Experience in network service management, network design and engineering standards, or network deployment.
Option 2 – Enterprise / B2B Customer Segment:
Background in enterprise or business customer operations, B2B service delivery, or commercial process improvement.
You don’t need both – expertise in one domain combined with solid Lean Six Sigma Black Belt capability is ideal.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven track record delivering process improvement projects within telecommunications or technology industries.
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills using statistical tools and metrics.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within large, complex organisations.
- For the Lead Consultant role: prior experience managing multiple projects, mentoring Black/Green Belts, and driving program-level outcomes.
Why Join?
- Work on a high-impact transformation program within a leading telco organisation.
- Collaborate with a global consulting team driving real operational change.
- Opportunity for contract extension based on performance.
- Competitive daily rate and flexible working arrangements.
Interested?
If you’re a results-driven Lean Six Sigma Black Belt ready to make a measurable impact in the telecommunications sector, we’d love to hear from you.
