About the role

The Mater Hospital Administration team is seeking an experienced Administration Officer to support the Mater Cancer Care Centre, as well as the Infusions and Dialysis clinics. This is a casual position.

- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and clients
- Book and manage outpatient appointments
- Register and update patient details in iPM
- Invoice/receipt patients in Totalcare and using HICAPS
- Manage phone calls from patients and clinical staff, handling various inquiries
- Maintain discretion and confidentiality, complying with policies and procedures. Keep accurate, current, and accessible files
- Assist senior admin staff and others as needed

About you

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Quick learner with the ability to retain information across multiple receptions
- Flexible and adaptable
- High-level customer service, verbal, and written communication skills
- Effective multitasking, organization, and prioritization skills in a busy environment
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Proficiency in administration systems and the ability to learn new systems quickly
- Competence in Outlook, Word, and Excel
