Want a better career, a real team and an employer you trust?
Get it done at M2P
M2P was created to do engineering differently. To challenge and deliver better solutions to clients, and to take pride in a job done right. It’s worked, and now, we’re kicking on.
Today, we’re a market leader in construction, engineering and fabrication services, specialising in heavy industrial structural, mechanical and piping (SMP) projects across Australia.
We’re growing all the time, but we never forget what matters most: our people.
This is your opportunity to get stuck into good, honest work with a successful, forward-thinking business that takes care of its own.
Join us as our Interstate Truck Driver, and help shape a business that has its eyes on the future, with a team that has your back.
Based at our Salisbury Workshop, we are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated truck driver to join our team. With the potential for permanent employment, this is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join our growing company.
You’ll make an impact by:
- Safely transport plant and equipment by driving interstate routes and handling local deliveries.
- Load and unload cargo onto drop deck trailers with precision and care.
- Complete site inductions and adhere to pre-employment medical requirements for all sites, including full COVID vaccination.
- Maintain a clean driving record and provide a recent 5-year traffic history.
- Demonstrate excellent driving skills, including nighttime driving when required.
- Willingness to handle local deliveries as part of the job responsibilities.
What you’ll bring
- Possess a minimum HC Licence (MC Licence preferred), with exceptions considered for exceptional candidates.
- Previous experience in interstate driving is essential.
- Comfortable with overnight stays in the truck bunk for up to 7 consecutive days.
- Proficient in loading and unloading plant and equipment onto drop deck trailers.
- Hold a valid police check.
- Preferably possess an LF licence.
- Strong commitment to safety and compliance.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
Why M2P Engineering?
At M2P, we do a whole lot: engineering, construction, fabrication, maintenance … the list goes on. And we do it bloody well.
We work hard, and we expect plenty of each other. Our people get that because that’s how we win. And it’s how you will, too.
So, what can you expect from a career with us?
Well, it’s about three things:
●Work. The way it should be. We take pride in quality work, completed to spec and on time. Things can’t always go according to plan, of course, but we’re proud to exceed expectations and deliver on what we promise.
●Your career. The way it should be. With so many interesting projects to get stuck into, there’s ongoing work and a stable future here. Just give it a solid go, do the job well, and we’ll look after you.
●A real team. The way it should be. You’ll work shoulder to shoulder with an honest, reliable and respectful team. We’re mates looking after mates, and when the going gets tough, that’s when we step up for you the most.
Ready for your career, the way it should be?
Get it done at M2P.
At M2P, we appreciate the time and effort it takes to apply for a role. That’s why we respond to all candidates, regardless of their application outcome.
