About the Role (THIS IS NOT A TA ROLE)

The Talent Manager is a newly created role responsible for the design, implementation, and management of an enterprise‑wide Talent Management framework and structured processes to enable the identification, development, and retention of Talent across Sportsbet. The role will combine strategic program design with hands‑on analysis, building the data and insights capability required to drive evidence‑based Talent decisions.

About You

You’re a strategic thinker who thrives on turning big ideas into practical outcomes. With strong program design skills and the ability to deliver hands‑on, you balance creativity with execution. You’ll also bring:

- Proven experience designing and embedding enterprise‑wide talent strategies, frameworks, and cycles.
- Strong analytical capability with experience building and interpreting dashboards, reporting, and workforce insights.
- Deep knowledge of talent assessment and development methodologies, with a track record of building pipelines for high‑potential talent.
- The ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders, facilitating conversations that drive meaningful outcomes.
- A collaborative and curious mindset, working seamlessly across P&C functions to deliver integrated solutions.

- Proficiency in HRIS, analytics, and reporting tools, with the ability to prototype and partner on system enhancements.

Key Requirements

As our Talent Manager you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our people at Sportsbet by:

- Designing and implementing a holistic Talent Management strategy, aligning with Group standards while tailoring to Sportsbet’s unique culture.
- Creating frameworks and processes for talent identification, succession planning, career pathways, and high‑potential development.
- Embedding robust review cycles, succession forums, and leadership pipeline processes to build future‑ready capability.
- Partnering with P&C Business Partners and leaders to implement individual development plans and mobility programs.
- Building talent dashboards and analytics to deliver actionable insights on pipeline health, retention, and diversity.
- Producing quarterly reporting and predictive insights that inform strategic workforce decisions.
- Facilitating talent calibration sessions and collaborating with the Capability team to integrate learning pathways. Equipping leaders with the right tools, documentation, and resources to confidently manage talent.
