We are looking for an Account Manager who thrives on ownership, long term customer relationships and spotting commercial opportunities before others do. This role focuses on managing an existing portfolio of customers across Australia and New Zealand, building strong partnerships and guiding them through the value of our software solutions as their business evolves. As ECI continues to expand further into APAC, this role offers the opportunity to grow into a wider regional portfolio over time for the right person.
What you’ll be doing
In this role you are not simply renewing contracts but building long term commercial relationships and uncovering where growth opportunities lie within each account. You become a trusted commercial advisor for your clients by understanding their business, uncovering growth triggers and helping them move from on premise solutions to the cloud where it strengthens their performance and security. A major part of your impact lies in showing customers why remaining on premise carries operational risk and how cloud adoption enables long term scalability and resilience.
You stay in close contact with your portfolio to understand how their needs evolve and you proactively turn those insights into commercial opportunities. You manage your own pipeline, decide which accounts require deeper engagement and shape the growth strategy per customer. This role combines commercial instinct with strong relationship management. You listen, advise and challenge where necessary and you convert customer needs into tangible results through your own initiative rather than waiting for demand.

It is a hybrid 38 hour role based in Melbourne with access to an on site gym, parking and occasional travel for customer visits or sales events.

Furthermore, you also bring:
- A proven ability to manage accounts and hit or exceed quota;
- Confidence engaging with customers and building commercial momentum;
- Curiosity and proactiveness; you take ownership instead of waiting on others;
- A consultative mindset and the ability to quickly identify business pain points;
- Experience with SaaS or technology solutions is a plus but not required;
- High drive, resilience and a growth mindset.
