We're on the lookout for a nurse who is keen to take the next step in their career as a Dermatology Nurse Team Leader.

This position manages the day-to-day running of the North Ryde Dermatology department, providing direction, support, and supervision across the team.

You will be essential to ensuring the Dermatology department delivers a high level of patient care, works effectively on the floor, and that the standard and presentation of the hospital facilities are maintained at the highest possible level.

- Support the Medical NUM to implement processes, policies or projects aligned to SASH protocols
- Team management duties including staff rostering, conducting regular check ins, approving leave and time sheets.
- Monitor performance and behavioural concerns and report on performance of the team to NUM.
- Liaise with various stakeholders at SASH, acting as a point of contact for our Client Services team and other specialist departments for advice.
- Schedule procedures and book in initial consults / internal referrals from other departments.
- Assist with annual P&Gs and remuneration reviews.
- Model the SASH culture, behaviour, and standards – Live the SASH values.

Who we're looking for?

- Completed a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing with a minimum of 5 years, full-time experience as a qualified nurse
- A keen interest in Dermatology and a desire to learn.
- Experience in leadership and/or training and mentoring other team members.
- Ability to manage and prioritise tasks effectively.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Confidence working in a busy environment.
