About the role
We’re looking for a Strategy Manager to join our vibrant team in Sydney This role is your chance to lead the charge in conceiving big, distinctively Mamamia ideas that not only solve client briefs but also embody our mission to empower women and girls. You’ll be the brilliant connector, blending creativity with sharp strategic thinking to craft compelling, simple pitches. Day‑to‑day means high‑energy collaboration with content and branded content specialists, shaping solutions that balance winning pitches with retaining and growing our loyal audience. Here’s some of the stuff you can expect to be doing if you join us:
- Lead the development of inspiring, distinctively Mamamia strategic directions and organising ideas.
- Develop clear, compelling ecosystem concepts that tie into the overarching strategic idea.
- Ensure the delivery of succinct, storytelling‑driven client responses.
- Manage the ideation process, guiding creative idea generation and facilitating brainstorms.
- Collaborate with Branded Content, Creative Services and Executive Producers to balance pitch‑winning with audience growth.
- Work towards a response conversion rate greater than 42%.
- Develop relationships with agency counterparts and clients by delivering market‑leading audience insights.
- Be a proactive force for Mamamia Innovation.
Now, a bit about you
- You’ve got 2+ years of experience in Media or Creative Strategy, or Branded Content Integration.
- You’re a compelling communicator, able to positively influence collaboration and simply articulate thinking.
- You’re an analytical, strategic thinker who can see the big picture and draw insightful conclusions from data.
- You’re confident presenting to others and are driven to meet or exceed project objectives.
- You thrive in a team but can also achieve results working independently.
- You’re able to adjust quickly to changing priorities and cope effectively with complexity and change.
- You’re passionate about making the world a better place for women and girls through a career in communications strategy or brand integration.
