Job Description
At M.J. Bale, we pride ourselves on delivering a premium customer experience that reflects our values of Provenance, Authenticity, Integrity, and Character. We’re looking for a passionate and energetic Customer Service Assistant to join our Customer Care team at our Rosebery Support Office.
This is a casual role, 25–30 hours per week (including weekend work), perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and loves helping people.
About the Role
As a Customer Service Assistant, you’ll be the first point of contact for our valued customers, providing exceptional service across live chat, phone, email, and social media. You’ll play a key role in ensuring seamless order fulfilment and creating positive experiences that strengthen customer loyalty.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Resolving customer enquiries with professionalism and care
- Assisting with online orders, returns, exchanges, and loyalty program queries
- Collaborating with our warehouse, retail, and customer care teams to ensure smooth operations
- Identifying opportunities to upsell or cross-sell products and support sales conversion
- Providing timely feedback to improve customer experience and support new initiatives

Required experiences
- Prior experience in a customer service role, preferably in the retail industry
- Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding customer satisfaction targets
- Experience with processing transactions and managing customer orders
- Familiarity with garment care instructions and product knowledge (specifically menswear)
- Working knowledge of inventory management and stock control procedures
