Overview

Senior Digital Forensics & Incident Response (DFIR) Analyst — Lead complex investigations and drive incident response efforts across diverse digital environments. Port Melbourne location with hybrid work options.

Responsibilities

- Lead and conduct in-depth digital forensic investigations across systems, networks, and cloud infrastructure
- Perform incident triage, containment recommendations, and forensic evidence collection
- Analyse malware, uncover IOCs and TTPs, and collaborate with threat intelligence teams
- Write comprehensive reports detailing findings and recommendations

Qualifications

- Australian Citizen and eligibility for NV1 clearance and investigator registration
- 3+ years in DFIR with expertise in tools like Axiom, Nuix, and FTK
- Strong understanding of cyber threats, malware analysis, and forensic methodologies
- Certifications such as GCFA, CISSP, CISM (preferred)
- Flexibility to respond to incidents outside regular hours
