Tamworth Equine Veterinary Centre is a referral equine hospital located in Tamworth, the heart of the New South Wales north west Pleasure and Performance Horse region. The practice offers Assisted Reproduction services; Intensive Care, Lameness and Podiatry for horses in our hospital and provides a comprehensive On Farm service to our equine clients in the region.

The Role

The Equine Nurse position is a full-time fixed term position. You are well supported by an experienced team of veterinarians, visiting specialists, nurses and support team. This is a Monday – Friday role with minimal weekend requirements (approx. 1 in 4 on call).

Skills and Experience

- Certificate 4 or equivalent experience in Veterinary Nursing
- Experience in working with a variety of horses
- Prioritise and work effectively within a team
