Overview

Short Description: Build, Machine and assemble, bring your technical skills to our workshop fitter position, and take your career to the next level.

We are looking for an experienced Workshop Fitter to join our team. This role is for a mechanically minded person with good attention to detail. You will be self-motivated and adaptable as the job requires.

This is a full-time permanent opportunity for a person that is looking for career stability and a good work/life balance.

Responsibilities

- Build and reconditioning driveshafts for automotive, commercial, off highway and industrial applications.
- Machine driveline components.
- Assemble, welding, and balancing of driveshafts.
- General workshop duties as required.

To be successful in this role you need

- Well-developed fitting and machining skills obtained in a workshop environment.
- Have a sound mechanical aptitude and knowledge.
- Experience operating manual lathes and welding equipment is essential.
- Demonstrate a high degree of flexibility with job tasks.
- The ability to participate in ongoing training and be open to new ideas.
- Proven safety and quality focus & perform assigned duties in a safe and responsible manner in accordance with Company's Health & Safety policies & procedures.
- A willingness to work as part of a team, and do whatever is required, to help achieve business targets.
