A clinic in Brisbane’s north is seeking a capable and experienced small animal veterinarian to join their team.
This is a full-time position with rotating weekends. There is no after-hours on-call work required. This is a family-friendly business and can offer flexible rostering.
Your day will consist of consultations, medical procedures, and surgeries. In addition to your clinical duties, you will play a key role in mentoring new and recent graduate veterinarians, helping them to develop their skills and integrate into the team.
You will be supported by a qualified, highly skilled team of nurses. Team consulting is standard practice, so you will always have a second set of hands in the consult room. The team aims to provide considered and tailored health care solutions to all pets, delivered with empathy and exceptional care. As such, they have attracted a well-established client base.
The practice encourages autonomy and creativity, and will support your professional development. You will receive a generous contribution each year towards professional development, along with one week’s paid study leave.

The clinic features a suite of high‑level equipment, including private consultation rooms, a separate surgical theatre, digital x‑ray and dental x‑ray, ultrasound, in‑house laboratory equipment (IDEXX), and modern monitoring equipment. This practice values personal and practice development, and this is supported in the clinic with training, mentorship, and continual advances in clinic equipment and practices.
The successful applicant will have at least four years of veterinary experience and bring a compassionate, approachable, yet professional attitude to their work. You will demonstrate excellent communication skills, fostering positive relationships with both clients and team members, while consistently maintaining high standards of patient and client care. The practice is seeking an adaptable and proactive individual who is able to use their initiative to contribute effectively in a dynamic practice environment.
