Are you an experienced veterinarian with a passion for providing high standards of veterinary care?

This is an excellent opportunity for a veterinarian to take on a rewarding role within a supportive and well-equipped hospital. The position is focused on providing high standards of veterinary care while also contributing to the growth of the companion animal services.

The team culture is welcoming, supportive and family-friendly, with regular events to bring colleagues together. The team also have access to visiting specialists.

The role can be full-time or part-time, with flexible options for three to four days per week. Your hourly rate will be between $65 and $85, based on experience and skills ($130,000 to $168,000 per annum, full-time equivalent).

You will be responsible for delivering clinical excellence in both medicine and surgery, supported by a dedicated and skilled team. There will be scope to share your knowledge, mentor others and play a key role in developing the companion animal caseload.

The hospital is well equipped with digital x-ray (including dental), ultrasound, surgical theatre, in-house laboratory and intensive care facilities. The clinic has a long-standing connection with the community and enjoys strong support from loyal and engaged clients.

The employer is willing to assist with a work permit (sponsorship) for suitable overseas candidates. Applicants must have a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (or equivalent) and be eligible for registration as a veterinary practitioner in Australia.

The area feels like a small country town but is just on the outskirts of Brisbane. The Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast are within easy reach for adventures on your days off. The Brisbane hinterland has good access to the nearby mountains, lakes and national parks for great country living on the edge of the city.
