Olympus Dining is seeking a passionate and experienced Sous Chef to lead our dynamic kitchen team at Yoko, one of Brisbane's most exciting venues.

This is a key leadership role where you will work closely with our Head Chef to:

  • Collaborate on seasonal, innovative menus that celebrate Japanese flavours and premium produce.
  • Oversee kitchen operations, including prep, service, and maintaining high food quality standards.
  • Manage food costs and assist in achieving financial targets.
  • Mentor, train, and support the growth of junior chefs and kitchen staff.
  • Foster a positive, team-oriented kitchen culture.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Strong leadership experience as a Sous Chef in high-volume, premium restaurants.
  • A deep understanding of Asian cuisine – Japanese experience highly regarded.
  • A passion for great food, quality ingredients, and continuous improvement.
  • Is hands-on, organised, and thrives under pressure.
  • Loves mentoring and building a strong team culture.
